Your Bio
For Angel Marie Dibbs, photography is art therapy. Throughout her life, she has always needed to create, in one medium or another. Bringing imagery to life is sort of an addiction for her.
When she was younger, expression came through the art of dance and theater where she eventually taught and had her own costume design co. Later, she became a professional stylist and makeup artist, specializing in corrective hair color, wedding work & location shoots for models & photographers. Through that experience, Angel was bitten by the “shutter-bug.”
She has always loved photography, taking special interest in the art form after the birth of her daughter. Never having imagined she’d pursue photography professionally, the opportunity became clear when an illness forced her to leave the salon industry. It was then, Angel completed her education @ New York Institute of Photography.
Somehow, she’s managed to connect her training in color, texture and shape, with her innate sense of timing. With a genuinely natural approach, Angel captures delightfully honest moments portraying real emotion & true personality.
Once you've met her, you’ll instantly feel at ease in her company, sensing her love of people, animals, nature and life. Finding the joy in each day is Angel’s mantra. Making incredible images….satisfies her soul.
